We've been teaching Sam some baby sign language to help her communicate with us better until she can talk. Here she is signing for the word 'BOOK' (although her palms should be opening side by side, pinkies touching...but this is pretty good I'd say!)

heidi, how cool! we started teaching greyson immediately too! the first word he signed was "light". we were at a restaurant, and had just bumped into friends (who don't have children), while we were chatting greyson looked at the light and signed it, i went crazy and they thought we were both nuts!! oh well... no shame in being a proud mama!!! :)
