Love the view from mom and Rick's deck! This is my favorite part of visiting. Everyday we can wake up to this!Finally I have some time to get back into the blogging world. We were in Vernon on the long weekend and stayed for a week. It was so awesome to spend time with my mom and stepdad Rick. On our first day we went to Aunty Avis' BBQ for my cousin Amy's birthday. For the rest of the week Sammy was able to play with her cousin Cole almost everyday and they had a blast! The last day of our trip we spent at Davison's Orchards, watching Cole and Sam play on the slide, run through the petting farm and taking a tractor ride through the orchards. Afterwards we spent a couple of hours at the beach where Sam chose to play mostly on the slide, while daddy took in the underwater scenery snorkeling. Much fun was had and I did not want to come back home....although I know Sam did when she started to get a bit cranky for the last couple of days talking about her friends back home and missing her kitty Max.
Sam and I are preparing to fly this weekend to Camrose for a visit with my dad and grandmothers. Sam has caught a cold and hopefully will be better by the time we leave. Enjoy the pictures....
